Are you ready to elevate your students' summer experience? The Diversity Booster, in collaboration with ProX Summer, presents an exclusive opportunity for members of student organizations within our network.

ProX Summer Internship - Your Gateway to a Rewarding Summer

Explore the ProX Summer Internship Program at www.ProXSummer.org and open doors to a transformative summer experience for high school students (grades 9-12). With a $1,250 stipend and the chance to earn academic credit, this program is designed to engage over 600 students from all backgrounds across the entire Kansas City metro area.

Diversity Booster's Unique Offering for Student Organizations

As a non-profit booster organization, Diversity Booster is proud to be one of the many employers collaborating with ProX. Each summer, we host over 30 interns from multiple school districts. Diversity Booster invites student organizations in our network to seize this remarkable opportunity. Our interns work remotely, providing them with the flexibility to focus on projects that align with the goals of their respective school-based diversity organizations.

The internship application window opens in the fall, and the deadline for submissions is December 31. Don't miss the chance for your students to be a part of this extraordinary program. With over 500 spots available, acceptance is highly likely, ensuring a diverse and inclusive cohort.

When attending the ProX employer hiring event, interns from student organizations within the Diversity Booster network may choose to sign up specifically for Diversity Booster. This allows them to work on a project that directly contributes to the goals of their student organization.

Examples of Projects

  • Creating a diversity and inclusion awareness campaign.

  • Organizing events promoting cross-cultural understanding.

  • Planning fundraising campaigns.

Additionally, before students begin their projects, they are required to seek sponsor or administration feedback on their project goals. This ensures that the work aligns seamlessly with the mission, values, and goals of the student organization.

This holistic experience promises personal and professional growth, fostering connections and supporting the broader objectives of your student organization.

Sponsors interested in learning more about this exciting collaboration are encouraged to reach out to us. Let's work together to empower the next generation and make this summer a truly enriching experience for your students.
